Building Your Own Grooming Academy

Name the Program
$400
This session is where you will choose a name for your program. We will identify what imagery you want your program’s name to invoke and also make sure it’s clear and concise. In this session, we will also make sure that you pick both an available name and one that isn’t too similar to any other programs.
Set Goals and Expectations
$200
Goals and expectations are essential when starting a school so that you have a basis around which to plan your curriculum. Within this session, we will help you find your niche, plan for when you open, and make sure you are prepared for the costs.
Create the Program
$400
In the first half of this session, we will teach you how to create a full cohesive program for your school from the very first brain dump to organizing an outline with fleshed out topics. The second half of the sessions is when we will come together for a second zoom meeting to review and finalize your plans.
Create Presenting Materials
$600 or $200 per section
Section 1- How to create a slideshow: In this section, you will learn how to make a slideshow presentation for presenting your programs in Canva.
Section 2-How to create a video: In this section, you will learn how to make a video for presenting your programs in an online setting.
Section 3- How to set up an online program with Canvas: In this section, you will learn how to use the Canvas Program to set up an online program.
Create Supporting Materials
$600 or $200 per section
Section 1- How to make workbooks in Canva: In this section, you will learn how to create workbooks that work for all learning styles in Canva.
Section 2- Creating a Cohesive workspace: In this section, you will learn how to create a workspace that flows easily and gives your students the best chances of learning.
Section 3- How to create tests for all types of test takers: In this section, you will learn how to make and set up tests in Canvas that truly show what a student has learned.
Putting It All Together - $200
Now you have all the pieces to make your program and you need to put it together. In this session, you will learn how to decide how many students you can handle and how to price it based on your costs. We will also create a plan for how to ensure students will show accountability.
Create a Catalog
This is something that I will direct you to Meg Ioffredo. They created the Meditative Groomer Academy’s catalog and would be well equipped to teach you how to put together a catalog, both with proper wording and customized design. Another option is hiring them to make it for you. They can be reached at megthetravelinggroomer@gmail.com. It would be best to reach out to them after you complete the rest of the coaching process listed above.
Marketing Your Program - $200
Marketing your program is the hardest part but also the most crucial. In this session, you will learn about ways to advertise on Instagram and Facebook effectively, how to find in-person events that offer booth space, how to use your local resources, and how to market yourself with outside teaching opportunities.
